Isoko Association of Northern California

Mission

The mission of the Isoko Association of Northern California (IANC) is to promote the richness of Isoko people culture and traditional values and to pass on to our children the Isoko culture and values. To achieve these goals and objectives, the association cooperates with other organizations with similar interests here in the United States, in Nigeria, and other overseas locations

The purpose and objectives of the Association shall be:

To foster unity among Isoko people in Northern California and around the United States of America

To promote the cultural heritage of the Isoko people in the Northern California.

To promote economic, intellectual, and cultural cooperation among Isoko people

To promote research into, and publications about Isoko language, people, history and culture through the use of all available medium.

To identify, promote, develop and to advance the socio-economic interests of Isoko communities.

To identify, develop, and coordinate its activities with organizations in Isoko land, Delta State, Nigerian and around the world, for the socio-economic development of Isoko land.

To assist and support our active members and immediate family members during life events such as death, child birth, marriage, child high school/college graduation. Immediate family member is defined as an active member spouse, children, mother, and father.
